• Energy auditor for building energy audits (in accordance with SIST EN 16247-5);
• Energy auditor for industrial facilities with production processes (in accordance with SIST EN 16247-5).
The free training for energy auditor experts will take place between May 13th and 24th, 2024, in the morning in Ljubljana.
The training is primarily intended for energy audit performers and energy managers, but the number of seats is limited, so registration is mandatory. Effective energy management in energy-intensive companies, as well as in the public sector, demands a comprehensive approach rooted in resourcefulness, innovation, and adaptability. By implementing investments strategically and swiftly adapting to legislation, we can create an environment that promotes sustainable energy use and contributes to the green transition. Our aim should be to become a society based on renewable energy sources while generating benefits for all stakeholders. Both the public sector and energy-intensive companies face challenges stemming from high energy consumption.
To address these challenges and present potential solutions, as part of the Sustainable Energy brand, two free webinars on energy management on the Borzen platform in May 2024 are organized: energy management in the public sector and energy management in energy-intensive companies.
Firstly, on May 8th from 10:00 to 12:00, tune in to the webinar on energy management in the public sector, where you will learn about possible legal approaches to investment in devices for electricity production from RES and legislation for the introduction of production facilities on renewable energy sources. Free prior registration is mandatory! Upravljanje z energijo v javnem sektorju 024 (trajnostnaenergija.si)
In the following week, on May 15th from 10:00 to 12:00, we invite you to participate in the webinar on energy management in energy-intensive companies, where you will learn about system planning incorporating renewable energy sources, considering energy efficiency, and get acquainted with the new Regulation on detailed rules for spatial planning for the placement of photovoltaic devices and solar receivers. Free prior registration is mandatory. Informacijsko središče o učinkoviti rabi in obnovljivih virih energije (trajnostnaenergija.si) You are welcome to join us.
At GREET CE, we understand the 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, and Kiss the Ground’s mission deeply resonates with our values. Through storytelling, education, and strategic partnerships, Kiss The Ground is leading the charge in promoting regenerative agriculture—a transformative approach that not only nourishes the soil but also revitalizes ecosystems and mitigates climate change.
🌱 Regenerative agriculture isn’t just a concept—it’s a movement grounded in six key principles:
𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗫𝗧
Economic, personal, community, ecological, climate, bioregion, etc.
𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘
This refers to tillage, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and more.
𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗔 “𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗧”
When plants photosynthesize, they pump carbon-based exudates into the soil to feed microbes throughout the growing season. The more living roots there are, the more this can occur.
𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗜𝗟 𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗢𝗥
Also referred to as “cover cropping”. Bare soil exposed to the elements harms soil health, so it’s recommended to always have some living or dead debris covering the soil.
𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗦
Integrating grazing animals into your fields, if it can work in your context, is extremely helpful for a variety of reasons, including: fertilization, aeration, increased organic matter, water infiltration, resistance to soil erosion, and more.”
𝗘𝗡𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬
Add diversity to whatever it is you are growing. This could look like planting diverse hedgerows throughout your farm, installing owl boxes, integrating honeybees, or planting diverse multi-species cover crops.
The future of Interreg is already being discussed. But before deciding what the future cohesion policy will become, the European Commission would like to hear from YOU.
Thus, the EC has enlisted all the Interreg programmes to consult their stakeholders. Indeed, your input is crucial in this process since you are a centerpiece of cooperation. To collect your feedback and ideas, we are organising a transnational consultation that will run until June 14th.
A joint work with five other transnational programmes (Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE, NEXT MED, Sudoe, IPA ADRION, Alpine Space) has resulted in a unique survey. Depending on the Interreg programmes you are involved in, you may receive several invitations to this survey. However, you only need to answer once.
