Renewable Gases Pilot
🌱 Call for Collaboration: Join Our LIFE Pilot on Renewable Gases
We invite companies, research institutes, technology providers, and public authorities to join our pilot on renewable gases, building on successful cooperation for LIFE application within the GREET CE project.
🔍 What is the Pilot About?
This pilot focuses on the production and use of renewable gases such as biogas and hydrogen as renewable energy sources. It explores three value chains, selected based on stakeholder interest in the region:
- Wastewater Biogas and Biomethane Value Chain – supports the transition to a circular economy by converting organic waste and residues into energy, aligning with the goals of the bioeconomy to generate value from renewable biological resources.
- Green Hydrogen for Mobility Value Chain – facilitates the decarbonization of the mobility sector, with a particular focus on public transportation and freight logistics.
- Hydrogen from Waste for Industrial Use (Waste-to-Hydrogen)- by integrating waste-to-hydrogen technologies within the broader hydrogen value chain serves a dual purpose: it mitigates the environmental impact of waste disposal and supplies renewable hydrogen to hard-to-abate industrial sectors.
🧩 Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking partnerships in the hydrogen, biogas, and wastewater management sectors, as well as in other related value chains. As we expand our efforts in sustainability and energy innovation, we are eager to collaborate with like-minded organizations to drive positive environmental impact and explore new business opportunities.
We are particularly interested in forming partnerships with:
- Research institutions or consultancies with expertise in hydrogen and biogas research.
- Companies with innovative solutions in the hydrogen and biogas sectors.
- Municipalities, utilities, or industrial users willing to test and implement pilot solutions.
- Organizations with experience in system integration and cross-border collaboration.
If your organization aligns with any of these areas, we will welcome the opportunity to discuss potential synergies and explore how we can collaborate on exciting projects together. Please feel free to reach out to express your interest.
