Regenerative Farming and Smart Agriculture
🌱 Call for Collaboration: Join Our Pilot on Regenerative Farming and Smart Agriculture
The Bioeconomy Cluster (Slovakia) and its European partners invite companies, research institutes, technology providers, and public authorities to join our pilot on regenerative farming, building on successful cooperation for LIFE application within the GREET CE project.
Our initiative demonstrates scalable regenerative farming practices supported by advanced digital technologies to restore soil health, reduce input use, and boost farm profitability. The pilot builds on three strategic value chains:
- Regenerative Farming & Precision Farming including No-Till Systems
Supported by precision farming tech, UAV mapping, autonomous robotics, and AI tools to achieve: soil erosion reduction, fertilizer efficiency gain and yield increase - Sustainable Bio-Fertilisers & Soil Nutrient Solutions
Driven by innovative SMEs to: reduce synthetic fertiliser use, improve soil organic matter, scale vermicompost, bio-leaching, and humic acid inputs
Controlled Environment Agriculture & Vertical Farming
Involving start-ups and innovative SMEs to: enable year-round, low-input production in urban settings, cut water use, reduce COâ‚‚ from food transport and pesticide use
🔗 Value Chains We’re Strengthening
We aim to develop and demonstrate new models across three integrated value chains:
- Input suppliers & technology providers (machinery, sensors, AI, bio-fertilisers)
- Farmers & service hubs (demonstration sites, advisory services, leasing)
- Digital platforms & data analytics (farm dashboards, nutrient mapping, automation)
- Food & biomass buyers (traders, retailers, municipal procurers)
- Policy and finance actors (eco-scheme enablers, carbon farming schemes)
🧩 Who Are We Looking For?
We invite expressions of interest from:
- Agri-tech and digital companies offering tools in AI, sensors, UAVs, robotics, IoT, or vertical farming.
- Bio-fertiliser and soil solution providers interested in validation and scaling.
- Farmers and cooperatives open to testing and demonstrating regenerative practices.
- Municipalities and regions seeking nature-based climate solutions and carbon farming.
- Academic and R&D partners with soil, agronomy, or data science expertise.
- Policy actors and NGOs focused on eco-schemes, climate resilience, and rural development.
