Digital (Sustainable) Energy Pilot

🌱 Call for Collaboration: Join Our Pilot on Digital Energy

We invite companies, research institutes, technology providers, and public authorities to join our pilot on digital energy, building on successful cooperation for LIFE application within the GREET CE project.

🔍 What is the Pilot About?

GREET-CE Digital Energy Pilot initiative focuses on developing innovative value chains across Central Europe to accelerate the green and digital transitions in the energy sector. The pilot builds on three strategic value chains with significant potential for environmental impact and innovation:

  1. Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Value Chain
This value chain focuses on optimization of energy consumption in manufacturing through advanced automation, AI, digitalization, and energy management systems. Currently spanning Slovenia, Hungary, and Croatia, we’re developing integrated solutions for real-time energy monitoring, industrial automation, and smart grid integration for factories which are combining different energy sources including their own renewables and storage systems.

  1. Electricity Networks Value Chain
Focused on improving electricity grid efficiency safety and reliability through advanced observability, renewable energy integration, and real-time energy sharing. Key activities include electric distribution network simulations, renewable energy system integration, and energy community platforms development.

  1. AI, Utilities and Smart Cities Value Chain
Encompassing renewable energy systems, digital optimization platforms, smart metering, IoT and AI-driven energy management solutions for urban environments. This cross-cutting value chain supports the development of advanced digital twins, smart city infrastructure and utilities management.

🧩 Who Are We Looking For?

We seek partners who can contribute to our value chains in the following ways:

  • Technology providers: Companies with innovative solutions in energy efficiency, smart grids, water management, or digital energy services
  • End-users: Municipalities, utilities, or industrial users willing to test and implement pilot solutions
  • Knowledge partners: Research institutions or consultancies with expertise in energy transition technologies
  • Integration specialists: Organizations with experience in system integration and cross-border collaboration

Ideal partners will have complementary technologies or services that enhance our existing value chains, a willingness to engage in joint R&D activities, and interest in developing cross-border initiatives eligible for EU funding.
